Cracked Foot Lotion

When someone you love asks for help for a problem and you have actual tools at your fingertips that will work, there is no better feeling. Tonight I was tasked with the problem of dry, cracked feet. I looked on everythingessential.me to get some inspiration. But my gut also told me to go for the lemongrass. Lemongrass is the only thing I used for a bad toe infection in my 11 year old. I used it twice and it was gone. I used Lemongrass for its antiseptic properties, and it is specifically known to help sore aching feet! Myrrh goes in the mix as it subdues swelling and promotes tissue regeneration. Last, Frankincense for it's effective wound healing, and for it's synergistic teamwork with other oils to help them exceed their individual benefits.
Recipe:
1/4 cup emulsifying wax
1/4 cup organic coconut oil
1/4 cup shea butter
30 drops lemongrass EO
20 drops myrrh EO
20 drops frankincense EO
1 Cup hot distilled water

Melt wax, coconut oil, and shea butter together. Add the doTerra Lemongrass, Myrrh, and Frankincense CPTG oils, stir vigorously with a skewer stick. Add hot water & pour mixture into lotion bottle. Shake frequently as it cools, otherwise it will separate.

Soak feet in an Epsom Salt bath for 20 min. Remove feet from water, and dry well. Apply Cracked Foot Lotion to feet, then cover with socks. Repeat nightly until severe cracking is resolved. Then use weekly as a preventative.
